Refund Policy

To the extent permitted by applicable law, all purchases are non-refundable and/or non-exchangeable, unless otherwise stated herein or required by applicable law. This Refund Policy is provided by Mind Start Technologies L.L.C and applies to subscriptions to the MindTape application (the "Service").

1. Money-Back Guarantee

In addition to the refund rights available to you under applicable law, if you made a purchase directly on our website and the money-back option was presented to you during checkout, you may be eligible for a refund provided that all of the following conditions are met:

  1. You contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of your initial purchase and before the end of your subscription period.
  2. You used the Service for at least 14 consecutive days, and your request includes supporting materials demonstrating your use (for example, screenshots or a screen recording of your in-app history).

We will review your request and notify you by email whether it is approved.

⚠️ Important

Only fulfillment of all of the above requirements allows you to receive a full voluntary refund under this Money-Back Guarantee. For clarity, this guarantee does not apply to:

  • Personal reasons (you did not like the product, it did not meet your expectations, etc.); or
  • Financial reasons (you did not expect to be charged, that a trial would convert into a subscription, that a subscription would auto-renew, or that the Service is paid, etc.).

2. General Refund Rules

Generally, if you do not meet the conditions set out above, the fees you have paid are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, unless otherwise stated herein or required by applicable law. Your statutory rights are always preserved and are described below.

European Union — 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are an EU consumer, you have a period of 14 days to withdraw from a contract without giving any reason and without incurring any costs. The cancellation period expires 14 days after your purchase; if you benefitted from a free trial, it expires 14 days from the start of your free trial.

To exercise this right, inform us of your decision by email at [email protected]. You may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory. We will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction.

If you gave your prior express consent to begin performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal, then — unless the Service is defective — you will not be eligible for a refund for digital content and will only be eligible for a proportional refund for a digital service.

United States — California & Connecticut residents

If you reside in California or Connecticut and cancel your purchase at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of purchase, we will return the payment you have made.

Brazil residents

In accordance with Brazilian Consumer Protection Law, you have the right to cancel your purchase within seven (7) calendar days of the purchase date, without providing any reason. We will refund the full amount paid without undue delay, using the same payment method as the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.

3.1 Apple App Store purchases

If you purchased a subscription or enabled a free trial through the Apple App Store, refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or follow the instructions on the Apple support page.

3.2 Website purchases

If you purchased a subscription directly through our website, or if you are exercising a statutory refund right described in Section 2, please contact our support team at [email protected].
